Even in the absence of disease, humans are real but they function in a flawed world. Nothing is perfect except standards which cannot be reached. Diseases make a lack of health because lack of diseases does not provide an empty gate into which some funnel pet projects.

There are some key facts about the definition that can’t be ignored but in being realistic, some factors are being hindered because one cannot describe health as “the complete state…” – this phrase/clause remains impracticable because complete is neither operational nor measurable. Nevertheless, limitations of the current definition affecting health policies.

Redefining health is an ambitious and complex goal. Many aspects need to be considered, stakeholders met and some cultural beliefs were considered and the future technological advancements should be anticipated.

An overview of the definition of health by W.H.O from every angle/aspect is basically idealistic and not realistic and one of the most outstanding flaws of the definition is its insistence on conditions of completeness within each of the components that make up total well-being. It has problems associated with maximizing principles in general. In the first instance, it is unclear how completeness can be measured within each of the parameters of well-being. This definition does not indicate whether one should understand the conditions of completeness as a measure of individual potential or as an intersubjective measure. In either case, it immediately runs into problems. A consideration of physical well-being will illustrate the difficulties although similar problems can be expected to arise under each of the other components of well-being.
